Steel Guitar Dan came to love the sound of the steel through early country "Honky Tonk". In searching further into the roots of the steel guitar he discovered a fondness for the kitsch sounds of Hawaiian pop music of the 1920's and 30's. Dan is musically promiscuous in the local Salt Lake music scene, playing in many different ensembles from country to classical violin. His mainstay is violin making and repair. |
