Doug Wright on Upright Bass
Doug is bar none the best and busiest bassist in Utah . A self-taught bass player heavily influenced by jazz, old school funk, rock and traditional country music. He studied jazz composition a t the University of Utah and is currently and instructor. He toured nationwide and currently plays with Quadraphonic, Voodoo Box, SLAJO/Salt Lake Alternative Jazz Orchestra and the Red Rock Hot Club.
